The next phase involves establishing the project as an independent commercial company, focused on securing commercial investment and generating revenue streams as outlined in the business plan. Negotiations are ongoing to identify products for licensing or direct sale to consumers. The core team will also be established.
A first batch of 10 Controllers was produced and distributed amongst first users for bug tracking and feedback. This version also includes a polished GUI interface, which allows for flexible operation, as well as monetisation of the algorithm. A website update was also prepared for pre-orders
Starting Q1, a vaccine transporter demonstrator was developed, reaching TRL3 and demonstrating electrical and UI functionality, including the frontend GUI and IOT tracking. Read more
This control module was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for the power optimisation algorithm to be easily integrated within a multitude of applications. This was also done as part of another undergraduate project. The first image shows the various assembly options, whilst the second shows the final PCB.
